Ikechukwu “Ike” Ekeke Esq is an Attorney and Counselor at Law for the Samuels Firm. Ike is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of Ohio. Ike has returned to GA after years of practicing law in Ohio following him earning a Juris Doctorate (JD) and Master of Law (LLM) from Case Western Reserve University School of Law (CWRU Law). 

 

After graduating CWRU Law, Ike worked as an attorney on both sides of criminal law in Cleveland, where his cases ranged from aggravated felonies to misdemeanors (DUI’s, petty theft, etc.). Ike was recruited back to CWRU Law to teach and practice in the CWRU Law’s Legal Clinic, representing indigent clients. Ike taught and practiced in the following areas of law: Criminal Defense, Intellectual Property, and Second Chance Re-Entry. Additionally, while working at CWRU Law, Ike coached the Black Law Student Association Mock Trial Team to regional and national awards. After the murder of George Floyd, Ike investigated and helped adjudicate allegations of constitutional and/or policy violations concerning government officials.

 

Since returning to Atlanta, Ike has represented clients, provided legal counsel and held pro-bono consultations in the areas of law, including, but not limited to, Criminal Defense, Corporate Compliance, Evictions, Estate Planning, and Civil Rights.
