Jack Samuels is an associate attorney at The Samuels Firm, focusing on criminal defense, eminent domain, and local government law. He brings a passion for public service and a commitment to defending the legal rights of individuals and communities.
 

Jack obtained undergraduate degrees in History and Comparative Literature from the University of Georgia and his Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Georgia.
 

Jack’s criminal defense practice primarily involves representing people who cannot afford an attorney. On a contract basis, he serves as a public defender in Athens-Clarke County, Forsyth County, DeKalb County, the City of East Point, the City of Toccoa, and the City of Chamblee.
 

In his local government practice, Jack serves as legal counsel for Franklin County, the City of Baldwin, The Town of Bethlehem, and the City of Danielsville.  He also represents the Georgia Department of Transportation in eminent domain matters.
